Introducing Shelley
A fully qualified Counselling Psychologist, I have worked in health, counselling and education settings for over 25 years.My professional interests include anxiety, depression, stress management, personality disorders, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction, disability, carer support, issues of older age and life transition.
My approach is warm, empathic and client-centred with a practical focus on goal-setting and personal growth. My professional training and experience covers a diverse range of client focussed psychological treatments including Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Addiction Therapies.
Qualifications
• Full registration as a Counselling Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia• Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Fellow of the APS College of Counselling Psychologists
• Master of Counselling Psychology – Monash University
• Registered Medicare Provider
